Blacker Ice Clownfish Proaquatix (Friday Delivery)
Amphiprion ocellaris - Blacker Ice are the resultant cross between our Black Ice and Black Ocellaris. The result is a Blacker Ice, which has mocha colored skin with exaggerated barring with unique patterns, much like Snowflakes but they have more intense black surrounding their white barring.
The A. ocellaris clownfish is peaceful by clownfish standards and a great choice for both beginner and experienced aquarists. It thrives in reef tanks and does well in pairs or small groups when introduced properly. This variety is tank-bred by Proaquatix in the USA and has been raised on prepared foods, making it well-adjusted to aquarium life.
Clownfish exhibit a clear social hierarchy. In a group or pair, the largest fish becomes the female while the next largest becomes male. This species is reef safe and compatible with most other reef safe fish.
