Chaetodon miliaris- The Millet seed or lemon butterflyfish has a lemon-yellow body with tons of intricate black spots in vertical rows. These butterflyfish tend to be curious and outgoing in-home aquariums. Millet seed butterflies are incredibly abundant in Hawaiian waters and easily recognizable.
This species is considered to be "reef safe with caution" and may pick at corals and sessile inverts. Aquarium expert Joe Posch has Biota Milletseed Butterflyfish and says he chose these fish because, "The milletseed is a very safe bet IME. as safe or safer than a copperband."
