Don't be alarmed if your Cabbage Coral closes up temporarily. They are known to shed the waxy outer coating to rid themselves of algae and benthic growths.

Cabbage corals need moderate lighting and good water flow. They attach to rock and do best in the bottom to mid region of the aquarium. Be sure to acclimate new coral to bright lighting slowly and carefully.
