Palythoa sp. - The Biota Utter Chaos Paly is cultured here in our Florida facility. This coral does best in moderate flow and moderate to high lighting. They obtain most of their nutrition from their photosynthetic zooxanthellae, but will benefit from microfoods and coral foods. We recommend Easy Reefs Easy Booster to increase your tank's natural zooplankton production. This species should be handled with gloves. Use eye and face protection when fragging because its tissues contain a natural toxin called palytoxin.
